This Heat Pump served the home owner for 41 years, but eventually like any mechanical system the cost of repair outweighed the advantages and costs to replace. We installed a 17 SEER heat pump with a electric air handler, and the new heating and cooling system’s 16.2 SEER2 rating was qualified for $550 in Ameren rebates and $600 in federal tax credits. The customer is thrilled that he can finally have his house at 70 even in the most recent heat wave.
