We were contacted by the customer who needed to synchronize roofing repairs with flue replacement. Understanding that timing is crucial in such situations, we successfully co-ordinated with the roofing company to schedule the repairs. Our role was to conduct an efficient flue replacement, ensuring a seamless and punctual service from both ends. By utilizing our effective planning capabilities and quality replacement material, we were able to execute the job without any hitches. The amalgamation of proper scheduling and skilled service resulted in a job well done, leaving the customer truly satisfied.

Another amazing project we completed this week. During the initial consultation we were informed of several customer concerns with the existing heating and cooling system. High electric bills, hot/cold spots on home, static, and dust/allergy issues. As part of our installation we addressed and solved all the customer concerns by adding a humidifier, high efficient air filter and made some small duct modification. Customer reported issues with the kitchen exhaust fan causing ceiling stains and poor ventilation. Inspection revealed the exhaust system was never properly vented to the exterior, leading to excess heat and humidity buildup that could impact indoor air quality and AC efficiency. To resolve the issue, we core drilled a 14-inch opening through concrete, brick, and cinder block, and installed a properly functioning vent to the outside, improving airflow and overall HVAC system performance

We were contacted by a customer experiencing issues with their old HVAC system, due to a faulty compressor. Understanding the discomfort that such a problem can cause, we promptly responded by replacing their old system with a newer, more efficient model. Customer was locked out and tagged out by Spire after reporting a gas smell. Several significant leaks were discovered and corrected throughout the home. Within a few hours we called Spire back to have the gas turned back on. Finally they can have a hot shower again! Proudly serving Creve Coeur and surround areas!

The customer called us for a 2nd opinion regarding their 40-year-old system which was giving them some trouble. Upon investigation, we identified compressor that was in dire need of attention. The poor quality connections stood out and a comprehensive overhaul was essential. Thus, we promptly put our expertise into play. We installed a new Qwik Lug terminal kit to enhance the machinery's functionality. To handle the system pressure better, a supco pressure switch was also added. Accompanying these installations, we performed a few other minor repairs. Who knew this old champ had still more to offer! Now, it's up and running smoothly again. The customer was amazed to see how we spun our magic to breathe life into their old system.

Today we installed a High Efficient Lennox heating and cooling system comprised of a 16 SEER air conditioner and 2-stage 97% efficient gas furnace. The customer immediately noticed the difference going from the main floor to the upper level. This particular system qualified for $600 in federal tax credits and $300 in Spire rebates. We were contacted by a customer with an urgent plea for help over the weekend as their air conditioning unit had abruptly ceased to function, turning their home into a mini sauna. With no delay, we responded to the emergency service call and found that the air conditioner required a few minor repairs and a thorough cleaning. We utilized a durable, top-rated product, the Titan capacitor, to fix the issue at hand. Post service, we are happy to report that the air conditioner is now operational and efficiently cooling the house, bringing back much-needed comfort to the customer's home.

The customer reached out to us due to issues with their outdoor unit. In response, we replaced their capacitor and thoroughly cleaned and checked the outdoor unit to ensure it was functioning optimally. The products we used during this service included an AM Rad capacitor, a Fluke voltage meter and amp clamp, Testo refrigerant gauges, and a UEI thermometer. These tools allowed us to provide an efficient and effective solution to the customer's needs. We're helping customers stay cool one system check at a time.

We responded to a service call about a no air conditioning issue. Upon inspection, we discovered that the root of the problem was a malfunctioning fan motor in a 25-year-old system. We quickly sprang into action and repaired the system using a Titan Capacitor and a Rescue Fan Motor, two reliable products we trust. While the air conditioning system is now up and running, we did advise the customer about the potential benefits of replacing the old system in the long run. We were contacted by a customer who had an air conditioner with a serious refrigerant leak problem. In order to address this issue, we provided our service of replacing the problematic air conditioner with an 18 SEER 2-stage high efficiency unit, known for its superior performance and energy savings. In conjunction with this, we used the General Electric Honeywell Thermostat for precise temperature control. The new installation ensures a cooler, more comfortable home environment and a considerable reduction in energy cost over the long term.

Sometimes even small repairs on older systems are just not worth it. After being called out for emergency service for a failed capacitor, we found this system from 1997 barely hanging on. After replacing the capacitor we found the unit to be very inefficient and pressures exceeding normal operating range. Several issues during the initial installation are also proving to be a nuisance problem. With JLM we provide a full system diagnostic with every repair. We don’t just replace a part and move on. Our team was contacted to install a powered humidifier to enhance the quality of air in the customer's home. We utilized a high-grade healthy climate power humidifier for this project. This device optimizes the moisture levels, creating a healthier and more comfortable living environment. We're glad we could assist in improving their home's indoor climate. This west county customer had several concerns addressed and implanted when we changed out her heating and cooling system. During our initial estimate we went over concerns. Her husband has been suffering with dry nose and itchy eyes this past winter, she has mild allergies and the second floor was always warmer than main floor. To help combat the issues we replaced her existing furnace with a 2-stage furnace to help allow the warm air to naturally rise to the second floor on low stage, and if needed we had a high stage to get the house to temperature quickly. We also added a powered humidifier to help get her humidity level at a normal level to help her husband with the dry and “itchiness” felt during the winter months. A pleated 5” media filter was added to the system to help absorb and filter all the allergens. We added an additional furnace base to help maximize airflow to the second floor. With just simple and effective changes this customer will experience a new world of comfort in her home.

This Valley Park customer wanted to really boost their comfort level and have a true comfort high efficient HVAC system. By upgrading from a standard system to a high efficient 97% furnace and modulating air conditioner they will experience the ultimate comfort at home and see a significant energy savings in heating and cooling modes. To top it off, we added another degree of comfort and assurance to indoor air quality with high efficient media air filters and humidifiers to help them breathe easier. Each of these HVAC systems qualify for not only $1,200 in federal tax credits, but also $325 in Spire rebates.

One customer took advantage of the Spring promotion and upgraded her HVAC system. The 35 year old furnace and air conditioner were massive! Unfortunately, they were very inefficient at 60% efficiency. We replaced this tank of a furnace (over 200 lbs!), with a variable speed 2-stage 80% furnace. Even though the new furnace is smaller in size it has a higher capacity than the old tank. With a 2-stage variable speed furnace we can circulate air more effectively, control humidity and filter the air better! The upgraded air conditioner and furnace will save this customer $1,000’s each year and her home will be much more comfortable!

These 20 year old systems had several issues and the customer was expecting repairs in spring for air conditioning, but when the furnace failed it just made financial sense to replace each system. We worked well within the customer budget and replaced both systems. With a 10-year manufacturer warranty this customer can rest assured they will be comfortable with the unpredictable St. Louis weather.

This nearly 40 year old furnace served the homeowners without question until it just couldn’t anymore. Upon arrival customer informed me it was making a loud banging noise. What was actually happening a fireball was shooting out of the furnace! Good they called when they did as a serious and potentially deadly situation had been avoided.

This Heat Pump served the home owner for 41 years, but eventually like any mechanical system the cost of repair outweighed the advantages and costs to replace. We installed a 17 SEER heat pump with a electric air handler, and the new heating and cooling system's 16.2 SEER2 rating was qualified for $550 in Ameren rebates and $600 in federal tax credits. The customer is thrilled that he can finally have his house at 70 even in the most recent heat wave.

These enhancements allows for ultimate humidity control and allows equipment to operate at a much lower ratio than standard on/off equipment.
